Jimothy
Your whole portfolio, wrangled — every morning.
Jimothy is a project-management and “scrum master” tool for one manager juggling a portfolio of projects and a small team. You bring the chaos — deadlines, half-finished projects, a team pulled three directions — and Jimothy (yes, the raccoon) sorts it into what actually matters today, this week, month, quarter, and year, all at once. A coach, not a nag.

What it does
Multi-horizon prioritization
Jimothy scores every task on urgency, critical-path criticality, staleness, unblock value, and cost of delay, then untangles all five time horizons at once (with a backward-scheduling reality check). So “what’s actually most important right now” stops being a gut guess.
Forecasts from your actuals
PERT three-point estimates that learn how you and each teammate really work, plus Monte Carlo P50 / P85 finish dates once there’s a little history — honest ranges, not the date you wish were true.
A weekly rhythm
The week is your sprint. Friday close-out tallies your velocity and quietly carries the unfinished stuff forward — so Monday starts from what’s real, not last week’s optimism.
Focus Mode
When the whole board is too much: one task, a start/done timer, go. Everything else can wait its turn.
Two-way calendar sync
Connect Google or Microsoft and Jimothy reads your real commitments so its plan fits the day you actually have. Turn on writes and it pushes milestones and Focus blocks back — but only into a dedicated “Jimothy” calendar it creates, never your real one, and off until you say so.
Staffing capacity
Track a small team in staff-days with a forward capacity timeline, so your plans fit the hours that actually exist — not the ones you’re pretending exist.
Coach, not a nag
Wins first, then the honest heads-up. Jimothy flags what’s slipping without the guilt trip — it’s on your side (and it brought a clipboard).
How it works
- You give it the shape of your workProjects, deadlines, staffing budget, and each person’s capacity. First run, it loads a whole example portfolio for you — no intimidating blank screen, no “where do I even start.”
- It keeps the whole picture in viewToday, Focus, Week, Month, Quarter, Year, Projects, Staff, and Reports — a live, prioritized read on the portfolio, recomputed as things change.
- Every morning, in under ten minutesIt tells you what to do today, what’s on fire, and what just moved — all on your own machine (Windows, macOS, Linux, or a one-click Codespace). No server, no account, no cloud, nobody peeking but the raccoon.
Take it for a spin
The fastest look is a Codespace — GitHub builds and runs Jimothy in the cloud in a couple of minutes, nothing to install. Or grab it from GitHub and run it locally.
